The Lower Columbia Classics Car Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving automotive history while investing in the next generation through education and community support. The club actively supports hands-on learning and career pathways in the automotive and skilled trades.

The Lower Columbia Classics Car Club (LCCC) is proud to support the next generation of mechanics at Clatsop Community College. Through a recent $8,000 donation, the college’s Automotive Technology program at the MERTS campus was able to acquire a Hunter Road Force Wheel Balancer. This industry-leading equipment allows students to train on the same high-precision technology used in top-tier professional shops and dealerships nationwide.
On Wednesday, February 25, 2026, six of our members had the privilege of visiting the automotive bays. It was an inspiring afternoon seeing the new equipment in action and meeting the hardworking students and faculty who are putting our gift to good use. We are honored to play a part in ensuring these students have the tools they need to succeed in the modern workforce.
